Real Name: Ben
Age: 20
Location: Reading
Nationality: Anglo-Irish
Occupation: Non-studying student
Other Aliases: None, unless you count the lack of apostrophe over on FM-B or people not capitalising the second B. :p

Geek Factor: CM/FM since one of the latter SI CMs. Xbox. Still waste plenty of time roleplaying made up football on nationstates.
Non-geek Hobbies: Cycling. Being chased by dogs whilst cycling. Football, supported Reading since I was 4, gotten in non-League football following Reading Town (of the Hellenic League, 9th tier of English football) over the last couple of years. Much prefer rugby league to union despite having played union for a local club and for school and college.
Preferred Music: Got K'naan, The Killers and Babyshambles in the stereo at the moment. Top rated stuff on itunes includes Gogol Bordello, Kraftwerk, Sex Pistols, The Skids, some Japanese thing I didn't even realise I had, The Pogues, Red Army Choir, Bloc Party, Hard-Fi, Editors, Selena Gomez, Super Furry Animals, Steppanwolf, Pulp, Rick Astley and some Russian electro amongst others. Or see a vastly different picture to the one I've painted here!
Three Games (not FM): Fable, FIFA, Mercenaries (loved the first one, not really gotten into the second)
Three Films (sequels/franchises count as one): Don't really bother with films, last I watched was Cool Runnings just before the Winter Olympics earlier this year I think. So that. Got Hot Fuzz on DVD, that was a decent laugh. And, let's say Toy Story for the last one.

LLM?: Started playing LLM properly soon after the LLM section opened in FM-B. Drifted from it in the last year though with the ability to add leagues in FM 10.

Personal stuff I don't mind sharing: I waste far too much time playing shitty facebook games.

The donkey's only 20. Twitch

I'd forgotten how young he was. I feel bad for picking on a minor now when I started the Llama vs Donkey debates. Mrgreen

That's because they lack funding. Apparently no fucker ever donates anything to them, they just change their Facebook profile pic to Hong Kong Phooey and cross their fingers [/cynicism]

Real Name: Steve
Age: 46
Location: Forest of Dean
Nationality: British
Occupation: Commercial Manager with engineering project management company
Other Aliases: Stats or Statto

Geek Factor: Been a fan of fooball management sims since CM93 then CM00/01 got into FM seriously with the purchase of FM07 then FM10 and just started an FM11 career
Non-geek Hobbies: Avid enthusiast of most sports, walking with the dogs, music and reading
Preferred Music: Black music enthusiast through all ages: Jazz and Blues from the beginning of the 20th century through to Rhythm & Blues (1950's) Sixties Soul Seventies Funk and through to present day. Contemporary faves include John Legend, Alicia Keys and Anthony Hamilton.
Three Games (not FM): None
Three Films (sequels/franchises count as one): Godfather triology, Trading Places anything by Scorcese. PS Recent passing of Pete Postlethwate reminded me how good The Usual Suspects was.

LLM?: Have always tried to play FM/CM realistically and have tried playing LLM way since FM07 but sophistication of this game made me seek assistance from the Tictac crowd (Downloaded TTF & purchased the CPW guide). Have sufficient confidence now to trust my own instincts (make own mistakes) with FM11

Personal stuff I don't mind sharing: I am half Welsh on my mother's side!

Thanks for the welcome gents. To be honest having read the 'guide' I thought most of it was straightforward common sense stuff. I would have been disappointed had I bought it primarily as a guide book but at the time I was happy spending the money to support the site. The later fall out with the wider FM community was astonishing.

I lurked a lot on the 'old' site but hope to become a more active member here.
